Uber is partnering with the NFB (National Federation of the Blind) for an Uber Salt Lake City promo. The National Federation of the Blind is an organization of blind people in the United States. It is the oldest and largest organization led by blind people in the United States with its national headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. The NFB knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future, and you can help support this great cause. Tomorrow, this Uber Salt Lake City promo will allow you to donate $1 for each Uber trip completed, and this will not be an extra cost to you. That means every ride taken on Saturday May 2, 2015 in Salt Lake City will help out a wonderful cause.

This region is a corridor of contiguous urban and suburban development stretched along an approximately 120-mile (190 km) segment of the Wasatch Front, comprising a total population of 2,423,912 as of 2014. It is one of only two major urban areas in the Great Basin (the other being Reno, Nevada), and the largest in the Intermountain West.
